How would describe the concept behind your store?
Colour and Simplicity. I wanted to make things are aren't too showy, that are comfortable and easy to wash and wear.

How and why did you start selling on etsy?
I had so many requests coming in from my blog begging me to start selling that I decided to be brave and try it out!

Do you have a favourite item that you almost hope someone won't buy?
Oh that's easy! My bubble dresses. I love them all so much and I don't think people realise how beautiful they are so they aren't selling as well as they should. That's ok though, because I love looking at them. Hehe.

What do you do when you're not etsying?
Oh, I have two children who I homeschool and sciatica. That keeps me more than busy.

Um...Oh, I'm 26 and I've been married for 8 years.

How would describe the concept behind your store?
Fun. Funky. Fabulous. Handmade hair accessories for little ladies and little ladies at heart.

How and why did you start selling on etsy?
I have always been a big fan of Etsy, and when my daughter Eloise was born in 2007 with a mop of hair, I started making hair clips to pin it back. Eloise's hair clips (or 'pretties' as she calls them) received compliments from friends and strangers and a business idea grew from there. After many prototypes and lots of trial and error, I opened Please Eloise at Etsy when Eloise was 15 months old. I haven't looked back.

Do you have a favourite item that you almost hope someone won't buy?
I love the Little Red Riding Hood ponytail holders and hair clips. They have been such great sellers that I'm running low on fabric and every time I have another sale I feel a little pang! Mental note... must put some away for Eloise now...

What do you do when you're not etsying?
Amusing Eloise, preparing for the August Stitches & Craft Show in Sydney where I'm exhibiting (and trying not to have a coronary in the process), preparing to move house and renovate a little at the end of this month and moonlighting four days a week at my day job as a Workplace Investigator.

Tell us something surprising that we don't know about you...
I'm a dangerous person without my morning coffee and there isn't much that I won't do for some chocolate... and I can't get up in the morning unless there is some kind of holiday plan in the works.

How would you describe the concept behind your store?
I hope to provide quality unique clothing for kids, with a focus at the moment on boys clothing, as they seem to get left out in the “cute-clothes-that-don’t-have-spiderman-or-some-other-character-on-them department”.

How and why did you start selling on etsy?
As ‘going to work’ is not a viable option for me at the moment, creating and selling on Etsy is something I can do at home around my two kids, and hopefully, in the long term, earn a small income from it. The idea came about because I simply love sewing and clothes, and I thought why not turn my hobby into something more. I’ve never had a job I love, until now!

Do you have a favourite item that you almost hope someone won’t buy?
Some of my favourite items have actually been clothes I’ve made for gifts, but I do hope to maybe re-create some of those items for my kids.
